Tutorial on Pathology of the GI Tract, Pancreas, and Liver

The Tutorial consists of five days of lectures, case presentations and discussions. It will be held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, 1200 Epcot Resorts Blvd, Lake Buena Vista, FL 33131, United States Phone: (407) 934-3000; (http://www.swandolphin.com/home.html).


Tuition

The registration fee is $1,225, which includes registration for the Tutorial, a flash drive, daily continental breakfasts, coffee breaks and a reception. This fee does not include any travel, housing, other meals, or additional expenses. The registration fee will increase to $1,325 for all requests postmarked after October 6, 2014.

Registration may be completed online by following links to the main page of the Tutorial website, which are located on the Weill Cornell Medical College Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine website (www.cornellpathology.org). We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Payments made by check must be in U.S. currency and drawn on a U.S. Bank. They should be made payable to the WCMC-Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. International participants may contact us directly for wire transfer information. Please be sure to use a complete mailing address when registering.


Roundtable Lunch

We will offer an optional roundtable lunch designed to promote sharing of information, ideas and resources between faculty and participants in an intimate setting. The fee is $50 per person. Advanced payment is required to reserve a seat and space is limited to 50 occupants. Please contact Jessica Misner at [email protected] to check availability and register.


Confirmation/Seating

A written confirmation will be sent to all registrants. Early registration is recommended. Seating at the program is on a first come first serve basis and will be assigned based on registration date. The seat assigned remains yours throughout the course.


Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation, the Tutorial fee is refundable, less a $125 service charge. A front and back copy of your cancelled check must be submitted with a refund request. After October 13, 2014, no refunds will be possible and no exceptions of any kind will be honored.


Continuing Medical Education

Weill Cornell Medical College is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Weill Cornell Medical College designates this live activity for a maximum of 31.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Credit for attendance at the regularly scheduled lectures are granted on an hour for hour basis and will be indicated at the bottom of the Tutorial certificate, which will be mailed to you approximately 6 weeks after conclusion of the program.


Maintenance of Certification

The American Board of Pathology has approved the Tutorial as a Self-Assessment Module (SAM) for Part II of the ABP Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program and designates this educational activity for a maximum of 20 SAM Credit(s).

Transportation

The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, just minutes away from Orlando. Orlando International Airport (MIA) is 20 miles and approximately 30 minutes from the Hotel.

Rental cars can be arranged at the airport, as well as with the Hotel through the Concierge. Limousine service, valet and self - parking are also available through the hotel.


Other

A daily continental-style breakfast will be available from 7 a.m. each day in the foyer outside the Grand Ballroom where the Tutorial sessions will be held. The use of cell phones or video/audio recording during the lectures is strictly prohibited.

Accommodations have been reserved for Tutorial participants at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. Note that a one-night deposit is required. Advise the reservations desk that you will be attending the Tutorial on Pathology of the GI Tract, Pancreas and Liver from November 10- 14, 2014 in order to receive the Cornell group rate. A confirmation number will be immediately assigned. The special daily rate for this meeting is $209/night (single/double). Reservations made after October 9, 2014 will be accepted on a space-available basis and rooms will not be available at the discounted group rate. Please make your reservations early!
